We’re seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our HR and Finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for our U.S. employees, maintaining payroll data integrity, and supporting compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now and a passion for accuracy and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Process biweekly (or weekly) payroll for hourly and salaried employees using ADP Workforce Now .
Review and validate timecards, earnings, deductions, and tax withholdings prior to each payroll run.
Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and compensation changes.
Reconcile payroll registers and respond promptly to payroll-related inquiries.
Ensure compliance with all applicable wage, tax, and labor laws.
Support year-end activities including W-2 distribution and payroll audits.
Partner with HR and Accounting on reporting, benefits deductions, and general ledger reconciliations.
Assist in process improvements and system upgrades related to ADP and payroll operations.
Qualifications
3+ years of payroll experience (multi-state preferred).
Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now (required).
Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Excel and data management skills.
Professional communication and customer service mindset.
CPP or FPC certification a plus.
