Director of Product Marketing
ONSITE ONLY / (near) Ann Arbor MI
Salary : $160-165k, Bonus up to 25% company equity
We are seeking a Director of Product Marketing to lead our client's channel marketing strategy and scale their partner ecosystem across glaziers, fabricators, toll manufacturers, and OEMs. This role is responsible for building, enabling, and accelerating our clients' partner network to ensure every channel partner is qualified, trained, supported, and positioned for long-term success.
Responsibilities :
Channel Partner Program Leadership
- Build, lead, and expand our channel partner ecosystem
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify new channel partners
- Develop and manage onboarding and ramp-up programs
- Create partner toolkits and track partner KPIs
Sales & Partner Enablement
Create best-in-class sales enablement assetsLead product marketing programs and co-marketing initiativesTrain internal teams and external partnersProduct Strategy & Roadmap
Partner with R&D and Executive Leadership to maintain a multi-year product roadmapTranslate field and partner feedback into actionable product requirementsOwn product-level positioning, IP maintenance, and differentiation strategiesGo-to-Market (GTM) Ownership
Own end-to-end GTM strategy for product offerings and specification pathwaysBuild and execute launch plansPartner with Sales, R&D, and Executive Leadership on pricing, packaging, segmentation, and channel-specific offeringsClient Engagement & Market Intelligence
Serve as a hands-on product expertConduct ongoing market and competitive analysesMaintain a continuous feedback loop between channel partners, clients, R&D, Sales, and MarketingStorytelling & Thought Leadership
Shape our product narrative across channelsDevelop messaging frameworks, case studies, application notes, and thought-leadership contentQualifications :
7-10 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or technical marketing, with at least 4+ years in building materialsProven experience building and managing channel partner programsExperience working directly with glaziers, fabricators, OEMs, or similar channel ecosystems strongly preferredExceptional storytelling and communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign or Illustrator) a plusThrives in high-growth, evolving environments and is comfortable shifting between strategic planning and hands-on executionA passion for innovation and improving how buildings are designed, constructed, and operatedThis is a full-time position working onsite in the Ann Arbor, MI area.
