Administrator – Graduate Medical Education (GME)

Purpose
In the role of GME Administrator you will be responsible for leadership and operational management of Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals, Inc.
MCWAH), a $80M non-profit organization with 950+ housestaff employees. Ensure compliance with organizational documents, tax regulations, and accreditation standards.
Manage financial activities, including budgeting, accounting, and audits. Drive all executive committee, member, and board meetings.
Serve as MCWAH Secretary Treasurer. Administer housestaff funding, employment, fringe benefits, and human resources. Collaborate with various stakeholders, support database systems, and manage diverse administrative tasks.
Primary Functions
- Ensure compliance with organizational documents, tax regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Drive regular and special meetings of the MCWAH executive committee, members, and board of directors in accordance with the organizational documents.
Provide all supporting information and documentation.
- Manage and sign off on all financial activities, including investments, budgeting, accounting, tax reporting and audits.
- Administer all aspects of housestaff funding, employment, and human resources, including housestaff fringe benefits; determine and perform hands-on execution of all compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, support database systems, and manage administrative tasks.
- Administer housestaff and entity malpractice and business insurance coverages.
- Support the MCWAH GME staff with respect to execution of all employment, affiliation agreement, and industry requirements.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director Associate Dean, Director of Risk Management, and GME Educator on various matters.
Attend and provide support for GME Committee and House staff Health and Welfare Committee meetings. Work with GME office senior management team to develop departmental and individual goals, ensuring alignment with EMERGE standards.
Manage operational and personnel activities of MCWAH GME office.
Knowledge Skills Abilities
- Robust management, analytical, and organizational skills
- In-depth knowledge of Non-Profit entity organizational and IRS requirements
- Proficient in business operations, human resources, employee benefits, and insurance coverage laws
- In-depth knowledge of accounting practices and principles
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and databases
- Demonstrated ability to research, design, prioritize, multi-task, and problem solve
- Effective knowledge impartation and decision-making in time-sensitive environments
- Aptitude for interactive and effective collaboration with MCWAH and MCW GME stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s
- 10 Years experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- 10 years progressively responsible experience in business operations, human resources employment benefits, accounting, and management administration.
Hands-on business operations and strategy experience most applicable.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
- Human Resources certification preferred.
