Job Details :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commission Startup Manager in the water / wastewater sector of the construction industry.

You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating our water and wastewater treatment plant operations, and maintenance (O&M) and ensuring that our projects are executed efficiently and to the highest of facility standards in safety, and quality, This role is perfect for someone who enjoys tackling challenges head-on, has a keen eye for detail, and is passionate about our mission of providing sustainable water and wastewater management solutions.

Responsibilities :

Provide administrative and operational support during the construction and closeout phase of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant upgrades and

rehabilitation projects.

Review engineering design drawings and equipment submittals to develop a startup plan using the required equipment, such as pumping and lift

stations, membrane bioreactors, biological nitrogen and phosphorus removal systems, UV systems, and sludge handling processes.

Maintain equipment inventory and proper handling and storage during the construction process and coordinate with

manufacturers to ensure proper installation and startup

• Oversee coordination and execution of commission activities
• Develop and implement commissioning time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and startup plans, and quality standards.
• Coordinate project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless integration and efficient operations.
• Oversee the testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of plant systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor any issues that may arise during project progress.
• Conduct audits and inspections regularly to identify issues and risks and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, and meet all environmental, health and safety standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support / train team members on startup procedures, helping to resolve any issues and create best practices.
• Manage project documentation.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in water / wastewater engineering and construction and startup
• 5+ years O&M Experience
• Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and regulations.
• Computer / Construction software proficiency
