Job descriptionCarry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the location's requirements. Provide customer service by assisting visitors, staff, and / or contractors in a professional manner. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor and report any security-related irregularities or suspicious activity. Participate in emergency response activities as appropriate to the location's protocols and Allied Universal guidelines. Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain awareness of surroundings to help to deter potential security-related issues. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License. Must have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and / or military roles. Must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is both an armed and driving position, requiring you to carry out your duties while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
