JOB OVERVIEW
With a direct report to the Director Business Control, North America the Business control Manager is responsible for the financial analysis of 3 to 4 NAM resorts (direct day-to-day management and consolidation of the NAM P&L), as well as 1 commercial Country.
He / She participates actively to the construction of the budget & plans for future years.
Location : Miami
RESPONSIBILITIES AND MISSIONS
Responsible for 3 to 4 NAM resorts :
- Identification of risks and opportunities (alerts his manager and Operation VP).
- Challenges forecasts, saving plans and action plans from villages and Operation VP.
- Makes recommendations to improve the zone Operational Result.
- Co-leads with the Operation VP the monthly Business Reviews with each resort G5.
- Challenges, mentors and trains resort Finance and Administration Managers.
- Perform internal control missions in the resorts and follow the village’s self-assessment campaign.
Responsible for a Commercial Sales contributions for one country :
- Manages directly the closing & forecast for the commercial country : prepares analysis of actual & forecast, builds / directs compilation of on-going forecasts (Topline, Marketing, fixed costs, )
- Analyzes results & provides recommendations to achieve targeted results
- Delivers monthly financial & variance analysis reports & KPIs
- Identifies risks & opportunities (alerts her / his manager and commercial VP)
Contributes to transversal projects as and when required.
Provides accurate & reliable custom reports / data for ad-hoc needs to support business decisions when required.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business / Finance

- Agility, proactivity, capacity to challenge and make recommendations

- General Math & accounting skills
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
- Hyperion Planning & Essbase / SmartView or similar financial tool, WebNafi is a plus
- Prior experience in the travel industry and / or Business Control is a definite plus
Language
Fluent in English, French is a plus
