Our client, a fast-growing AI software company, is seeking their first in-house recruiter to build the hiring engine from the ground up .
You'll design and execute the systems that power the company's growth from sourcing strategies and interview loops to candidate experience and hiring analytics, shaping how the team scales during a pivotal growth phase.
This is a true 0 to 1 opportunity : every hire you make will directly shape the company's culture, trajectory, and success. You'll partner closely with the founders to hire top talent across engineering, design, GTM, and G&A, helping build one of the most loved creative tools in AI.
What You'll Do
- Own full-cycle recruiting across technical and business teams.
- Build scalable recruiting processes : design scorecards, interview loops, and maintain ATS hygiene (Ashby).
- Track and improve funnel metrics, pass-throughs, time-to-hire, and quality-of-hire.
- Partner with founders on headcount planning and role definition.
- Source creatively through GitHub, Discord, open-source communities, and niche talent networks.
- Close top candidates by clearly communicating the company's mission, growth story, and equity value .
- Potential to grow into a Head of Talent role as the team scales.
Who You Are
5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in a fast-growth early-stage AI startupProven ability to recruit across technical and creative disciplines .Hands-on operator comfortable building systems and processes from scratch.Strong communicator with high EQ and data-driven decision-making.Excited about AI, creative tools, and helping shape the teams building them.This is a rare opportunity to define the talent foundation of a category-defining startup while partnering directly with visionary AI founders.
