CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Specialist within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities. The Procurement Specialist identifies organizational needs, researches and selects vendors, negotiates contracts for products and services, and manages supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance. Key responsibilities include conducting market tenders, analyzing bids, and monitoring supplier performance to achieve strategic goals and maintain a competitive edge for the company.

This position is located in USA VA Arlington, however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Supplier Management : Researching, evaluating, and selecting suppliers to meet quality, cost, and compliance standards.
• Contract Negotiation : Securing favorable pricing, terms, and conditions through contract negotiations with suppliers.
• Cost Analysis : Analyzing market trends and costs to ensure purchases are made at the best possible value.
• Bid Evaluation : Assessing vendor bids and proposals to determine suppliers that meet budget and performance criteria.
• Compliance : Ensuring all procurement activities adhere to company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
• Inventory Control : Overseeing the inventory of materials and goods to ensure availability and manage stock levels.
• Performance Monitoring : Tracking supplier performance to ensure they meet contractual obligations, delivery schedules, and quality specifications.
