Major Metro Growth Leader
As a Major Metro Growth Leader aligned to the Chicago Metropolitan Area, you are tasked with developing and executing a short-term and long-term strategy to increase Jacobs' market-share within your metro area, across all Jacobs' infrastructure markets. In this role, you will focus on expanding cross-market work with existing clients and diversifying the Jacobs client portfolio with new clients in the assigned metropolitan area. Leveraging your expertise to lead business growth and client stewardship activities, you will be responsible for developing market strategies and growth initiatives within the Chicago metro area. You will collaborate closely with the individual market growth directors and client account managers assigned to your geography to execute on your strategy and report directly to the geographic executive director of sales. As a leader, you are empowered to set the direction for the local sales teams while simultaneously fostering collaboration with you.
Job Duties & Responsibilities :
Proven sales professional with recent experience in the regional market and demonstrated ability to close deals and contractual agreements. Located within the major metropolitan area you support. Technical degree and / or requisite experience. Successful track record in infrastructure market business development. Demonstrated history of navigating complex external social and political dynamics and relationships to secure strategic wins and execute on market growth strategies. Experience working with a broad range of project types and sizes with diverse private and public sector clients. Experience personally engaging on key pursuits including development of strategy, pricing, and managing a team. Strong business acumen and experience developing sales and pursuit strategies. Outstanding organizational and communication skills. Passion for leadership coupled with innate ability to influence decision-making processes. Strategic thinker who drives innovative solutions. Experience leading diverse sales teams with varying complexity of projects and clients. Analytical capabilities to develop pricing proposals and support compliance with sales budgets. Ability to drive formation of impactful strategic teaming partnerships, as well as successfully determine and counter competitor strategies. Ability to develop strategic internal relationships and lead by influence to leverage the full strength of the Jacobs technical offering to existing and new clients.
