Job description

Job Requirements

  • Location : Must be local to Austin / Round Rock, TX
  • Work Authorization : Must be eligible to work for any U.S. employer (US Citizens only)
  • Engagement : W2 only through our firm — no visa sponsorships, C2C, or S-Corp
  • Onsite Requirement : Fully onsite, 5 days / week in Austin (Round Rock), TX
  • Note : Only candidates who are local to Austin and authorized to work for any U.S. employer should apply. (US Citizens only)
  • MUST- Strong Infrastucture / on-Prem skills with Kubernetes / bare metal servers

Contract Length : 12+ months

Required Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong hands-on experience building infrastructure automation for private / on-prem data centers using tools such as Ansible, Terraform , and working with bare metal servers
  • Deep knowledge of Linux , storage fundamentals, Kubernetes networking , storage, RBAC, Pod Security, Operator SDK / Fabric8 API
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals : BGP / eBGP, Calico , service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, NGINX )
  • Proficiency in programming and automation : Shell scripting, Python, Helm, Ansible, CI / CD
  • Strong background in application architecture, high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and core infrastructure services (DNS, load balancers, firewalls, TLS certificates, web servers, reverse proxies, Git)
  • Broad experience with systems telemetry and monitoring tools such as ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk , etc.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies and the ability to function effectively both independently and in a virtual team environment.
