Resident In Counseling - Sterling, VA

What will I be doing? Completing Comprehensive Assessments Working with individuals and families in the outpatient office setting, as well as meeting them where they are in the community.

Crisis intervention and treatment planning Fully licensed therapists may assist with oversight of clinical service provision for the team.

Am I a good fit ? Successful staff exude a passion for serving vulnerable individuals and families. A flexible schedule is important for this role and allows you to have control over your session planning.

Ability to work independently and manage time well. Ability to collaborate with a team to accomplish goals. Qualifications : Master’s Degree in a Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or a Related field Meets current requirements to receive approval as a Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work in the state of Virginia.

Preferred : approved by the board as a Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work in the state of Virginia Preferred at least one year of Direct Care Experience Excellent writing and communication skills : May be required to submit a writing sample.

Candidates must be available to work afternoon and evening hours. Full-time Residents at Health Connect America are eligible to receive supervision towards their Licensure from a Board Approved Supervisor.
