We are sourcing candidates for an Architectural Design position in our Architectural Studio in Richmond, VA
Duties
- Prepare and modify architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, etc. as directed by others utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Incorporate Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
- Assist in developing project scope, plan, and services and during the contract process. Translates planning concepts into comprehensible terms for clients, designers, and project team members.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients’ program requirements and standards and policies for completion.
- Prepare 2D and 3D presentation / design drawings.
- Perform product research; assist Project Designers and Project Architects with materials selection and system research.
- Work with limited supervision and excellent mentorship.
Requirements
- Bachelors / Master’s degree in Architecture.
- 3-5 years of Architecture Experience
- Must be proficient in Revit
- Ability to work as a part of a team.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
- Have a positive attitude someone who enjoys good work and is fun to work with
