Lateral Partner – Labor & Employment (Counseling, Labor Law & Litigation)
Job Details
We are seeking an accomplished Lateral Partner with deep expertise in Labor & Employment counseling, traditional labor matters, and employment litigation. The ideal candidate brings a substantial portable book of business, with the majority originating from Labor & Employment clients, and seeks a platform that offers autonomy, collaboration, and the ability to grow a thriving practice.
In addition to L&E, the successful candidate may also handle matters in real estate litigation, business litigation, employment class actions, and appellate work, depending on their background and client needs.

Responsibilities
As a Lateral Partner, you will :
Provide strategic counseling and advocacy in employment law, including compliance, investigations, policies, wage and hour guidance, employee relations, and risk mitigation.
Represent clients in employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and class / representative actions.
Handle traditional labor matters, such as union negotiations, grievances, NLRB issues, and labor contract interpretation.
Lead or contribute to matters in real estate litigation, business litigation, employment litigation, and appeals, depending on your practice mix.
Drive business development initiatives and expand your practice using your portable book of business.
Maintain strong, long-term client relationships through attentive, responsive service and high-quality legal work.
Collaborate with fellow partners and teams to provide cross-practice support and seamless service delivery.
Mentor associates and contribute to the overall development of the firm’s litigation and L&E practice groups.
Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and client service.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have :
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
15+ years of legal experience, with a strong emphasis on Labor & Employment counseling, labor law, and employment litigation.
A significant portable book of business, with a majority in L&E matters.
Demonstrated success managing complex litigation and / or labor matters.
Strong communication, client relationship, and business development skills.
Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and contribute to firm growth.
Experience in real estate litigation, business litigation, employment litigation, and appeals is a plus.
Strong ethical standards, professional integrity, and a collaborative mindset.
