POSITION SUMMARY
Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan is seeking a master's level clinical therapist to work in our children and family outpatient mental health clinic in Royal Oak, Michigan. The Clinical Therapist is responsible for providing direct clinical care in the form of individual and / or family treatment. This position works as part of an interdisciplinary team that includes medical providers. Duties also include documentation in the electronic clinical record and treatment planning for the purposes of compliance with accreditation and licensing and meeting the conditions established by third-party funders.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :
Master's level degree in a human services field; Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Addiction StudiesLimited or fully licensed through the State of Michigan (Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor or Limited License Psychologist)Clinical experience with mental health disorders, particularly in children and adolescentsKnowledge of childhood development and family dynamicsPosition requires excellent interpersonal skills, good moral character with flexibility of work schedule, including the ability to conduct telehealthPosition requires good verbal and written skillsMust have computer skills; ability to utilize an electronic health recordESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning for children, adolescentsMaintain necessary correspondence and communication with other agency and service providersShall carry a caseload of a minimum of 12 cases for part time and 24 cases for full time.Prepare assigned clients for discharge or transition through planning and linkage with services as indicatedConduct oneself in an ethical, mature and professional manner and treat clients, referral sources and coworkers with dignity and respectComplete documentation within agency guidelines and timeframesAttend regular supervisory sessions, in service trainings, all required staff meetings and psychiatric consultation as requiredPOSITION CLASSIFICATION, TYPE & EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK :
Part time or a full-time position. Hybrid / office schedule offered. The core CCSEM business days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 a.m. to 8 p.m. This position requires two evenings per week to accommodate client scheduling requests
