JobDescription : We are seeking an experienced andqualified Financial Controller to join our food manufacturingclients team in Fresno CA.
The ideal candidate will have aBachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance as well as costaccounting and food manufacturing experience.
CMA certification ispreferred. As the Financial Controller you will be responsible forperforming financial analyses preparing reports and assisting withbudgeting and forecasting.
You will also be responsible foranalyzing and reconciling balance sheets and general ledgeraccounts preparing tax returns and contributing to the developmentof new or amended financial systems programs andprocedures.
Location : Fresno CA Compensation Range : $130000 Bonus / Year Schedule : MonFri 8am5pm Benefits : Exceptionalbenefits
Responsibilities :
- Providingstrategic financial guidance and support to seniormanagement
- Performing advanced financialanalyses and reporting
- Developing financialmodels and projections
- Analyzing andreconciling balance sheets and general ledgeraccounts
- Preparing tax returns and otherfinancial statements
- Assisting with budgetingand forecasting
- Contributing to the developmentof new or amended financial systems programs andprocedures
- Participating in the companysdecisionmaking process by providing insights and recommendationsbased on your analysis
- Managing and trainingjunior staff as needed orassigned
Qualifications :
- BachelorsDegree in Accounting or Finance or a relatedfield
- CMA certificationpreferred
- Cost accounting and foodmanufacturing experience
- Strong analyticalskills and attention to detail
- Excellentcommunication and presentation skills
- Strongorganizational and stress managementskills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Officeparticularly with Excel
- Ability to train andmanage staff
- Ability to work with little to nosupervision
