Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Data Center Tech is responsible for providing high-quality service in data center facility to take excellent care of our customers, build relationships, question things, work hard, work smart, and enjoy the experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

o Cable trays and / or racking

o Data Equipment cabinets and frames

o Data Servers, Switches, Routers, Repeaters, Bridges, Gateways, Multiplexers, Transceivers, Firewalls

o Fuse Panels

o Physically routing the cables that supply AC and / or DC power or transmit data in various technical spaces

o Identify, label, and terminate cables that supply AC and / or DC power or transmit data

o Conduct test and document performance characteristics of hardware and software

o Resolve equipment / technical issues

o Review, analyze, and interpret work orders, drawings, records, and manuals

o Perform quality validation on in-process and completed work

o Interact with all members of the organization; Installation, Engineering and Project Management

o Performs other duties as requested by Manager
