ITC Infotech is looking for a SQL Database Specialist to join or US Team.
Location : Winston-Salem, North Carolina
Mode : Hybrid This role requires the candidate to be on premises 3 days in a week.
What you'll do :
- You will design, develop and optimize databases for diverse application workloads.
- You will be the POC for Installation, configuration, upgrade and maintenance of DBMS environment including production support.
- You will manage various OS and database specific upgrades on Windows environment.
- You will work with Application teams to provide guidance and consultancy for optimization and performance tuning.
- You will build self-service and automation tools using scripts / programs (ex. powershell) in order to reduce manual processing in providing low-touch offerings
- You will work closely with Microsoft Engineering and Product support teams to provide feedback as well as new feature requirements as per the firms development needs
Must Haves :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- 8-12 years’ experience as MS SQL Admin or in a related field.
- Hands on experience in application architecture review, store procedure, performance reviews.
- Hands on experience in DB Partition Activities, Datawarehouse Integrations, System Integrations.
- Hands on experience in Production Issues Support & Troubleshooting.
- Must have prior experience migrating SQL Servers from on premise to Cloud (AWS specifically a plus)
