Summary
The Senior Analyst - Port Operations Support (Reporting) is to manage all Port Operations Support team reporting needs including KPI Tracking, Monitoring, and Ad-Hoc reports. The position will identify business needs, and design, develop, and maintain the reports to support the needs. This person will analyze the data and produce summary information for leaders to incorporate into the operations decision makings.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all reports to ensure accuracy by refreshing, auditing, and analyzing data
- Refresh and audit data validity for weekly Operations KPI reports and remediate any issues
- Refresh and audit data validity for daily port inventory report and remediate any issues
- Refresh and audit data validity for daily vessel schedule report and remediate any issues
- Build and maintain daily operational dashboard report
- Analyze the report and produce periodic managerial summary
- Research and build a mini data warehouse for quicker ad-hoc operational reporting
- Analyze the weekly operational KPI reports and produce overall trending and focus items for operational review and remediation implementation
- Analyze the weekly financial KPI reports and produce overall trending and focus items for operational review and remediation implementation
- Develop new reports to satisfy new business needs
- Manage End to End new report development process including Planning, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Maintenance, and Change Management
- Report project status weekly to achieve timely completion
Produce Ad-Hoc reports as needed basis
Run PowerBI, ITMS, Excel, Access report as needed basisDevelop a plan to systematize the frequently requested reportsAssist with billing operations as needed basisFamiliarize with operations and procedures to better data input processDocument data dictionaryTrain other team members on reporting design and data gathering to better team's understandings of report contentsOther duties as assignedCompensation
