Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or its equivalent and three (3) years of professional experience in a professional office environment performing administrative, property, procurement functions. An associate's degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for two years of the required professional experience. Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference may be given to candidates with the following qualifications : One or more years' experience working in FleetWave, WEX, Samsara, and PCard WORKS State of Florida procurement & purchasing experience Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Employment in this position is contingent upon a satisfactory Level 1 background check at no cost to the candidate. Office hours are onsite from 8 : 00 A.M. to 5 : 00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Information should be provided regarding any gaps in employment. Position Overview and Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for providing inventory, property, fleet support within FWRI. The duties include but not limited to : Oversee all aspects of property management and inventory as it pertains directly to FWRI. Maintain inventory control records of state property. Conduct physical inventory in accordance with State and FWC policy and guidance. Initiate / Assist with forms for the transfer, loan, surplus, or missing status of state-owned equipment. Conduct field audits of statewide labs to ensure that property is recorded and appropriately identified with property stickers. Issue replacement stickers as required. Provide information and training on inventory procedures to Property Custodians and Custodian Delegates. Ensure FWRI property procedures and Portal information are up to date. Ensure proper usage, disposal, maintenance, and accountability of Commission-owned equipment in accordance guidance. Assist staff with property questions. Meet with Property Custodians or their delegates as needed to assist with questions or problems that may be encountered. Supervise assigned staff. Duties include but are not limited to : recruiting, training, planning, and directing work, reviewing performance with employees, and ensuring compliance with Commission and FWRI rules, policies, and procedures. Assist staff with the Wright Express card (WEX Card) system. Track and assist with vehicle / vessel registration and tag requests. Track purchases and replacement details for all watercraft and vehicles. Assist with the purchase of vehicles and vessels, including providing guidance on how to complete MP6301 and MP6401 forms. Track buildings, contents, property numbers, and insurance coverage for all FWRI staff locations, including photos prior to and / or after disasters. Coordinate with the Tallahassee Property Office on all FWRI building insurance details and tasks. Initiate insurance claims for eligible damages. Assist with disaster reporting requirements. Evaluate and report all accidents within FWRI per State and FWC policy and guidance. Ensure accurate report submissions to Risk Management for all and any claims against the Commission. Pursue reimbursement for damages to Commission equipment caused by non-Commission parties. Coordinate recycling of all surplus electronics, office equipment and furniture, batteries, UPS units, paper products, and equipment. Serve as the primary Key Lock Custodian for FWRI St. Petersburg by maintaining an inventory and tracking which keys employees hold. Performs other duties as assigned.
