The Opportunity :
As an Accounts Payable Specialist at Credibly, you will be a key member of the accounting team, responsible for managing the company's liabilities and ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors. You will play a crucial role in maintaining strong vendor relationships and the financial health of the organization. This position offers a great chance to refine your skills in a fast-paced and supportive financial environment.
What You Will Do :
- Process and enter vendor invoices with a high degree of accuracy.
- Manage and execute weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers).
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships.
- Assist with the month-end closing process, including accruals and account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
- Assist with annual audits and tax-related reporting, including 1099s.
- Support the accounting team with various tasks as needed.
Who You Are :
Associate’s degree in accounting or a related field; or equivalent experience.1-3 years of experience in an accounts payable or similar role.Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software.Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with vendors and internal teams.A team player with the ability to work independently.What Makes You Special :
