Logistics Manager

The Logistics Manager drives flawless execution of Wyld's go to market strategy through effective leadership of the Logistics Support and Inventory Teams. This role ensures operational excellence by maintaining compliance with local regulations, optimizing processes, and fostering strong collaboration with Sales and Distribution leadership. The Logistics Manager sets team standards, communicates expectations clearly, and supports company growth through hiring, training, and development of high performing employees. Flexibility and a proactive leadership style are essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include The Following :
Team Management
- Provide hands on personnel and performance leadership, including but not limited to hiring, scheduling, training, meeting facilitation, development and performance management.
- Ensure the Inventory & Logistics Teams consistently follow standard operating procedures and provide ongoing training as processes evolve.
- Conduct at least one ride along per employee per quarter for performance assessment and field coaching.
- Audit in field execution of events, activations, and pop-ups for quality and compliance.
Delivery Operations Oversight
Oversee and manage daily delivery operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all regulations, including product delivery, payment collection, and brand ambassador activities such as merchandising, education, event scheduling and relationship building.Coordinate with the Regional Distribution Manager and Director of Sales to align fleet sizing, and logistics strategies as needed to support growth and within business objectives.Supervise vehicle maintenance, safety, utilization, and enforce all traffic and compliance standards for drivers; optimizing routing and dispatch to maximize delivery efficiency and capacity.Maintain and improve delivery, payment, and schedules, manage relationships and communications with third-party route providers, and ensure all cash handling and reconciliation protocols are strictly followed.Maintain up-to-date account intake and delivery process documentation and provide operational support and coverage across regional logistics teams as required.Inventory Operations Oversight
Oversee compliance with company standards and state regulations, including METRC and other internal inventory systems.Manage all aspects of inventory control and fulfillment operations, such as receiving, pick / pack, labeling, staging, bulk goods movement, and allocation of finished goods between production and distribution warehouses.Track and replenish event inventory, SWAG, unmedicated samples, and marketing materials, executing department activities and operational support as needed.Maintain facility organization, cleanliness, and proper storage of goods; ensure compliance with all state regulations and internal policies in field and warehouse activities.Collaborate cross-functionally with Inventory, Distribution, Sales, and Facilities teams to optimize processes and achieve business objectives.Complete required administrative tasks, including CRM updates, mileage logs, expense reports, and maintenance of internal inventory records.Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs.Qualifications

3 years of experience directly related to customer-facing responsibilities and account management, preferably in the cannabis, or related industryAt least 1 year of supervisory or lead experienceComputer Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft office, data analysis, MS Business Central ERP, and Salesforce CRM a plusActive state-issued driver's license and maintained clean driving recordReliable personal vehicle to utilize for marketing events (Mileage reimbursement is covered at federal rate)Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and writtenSpanish proficiency a plusMust obtain state-required permits, licenses, and certificationsServSafe Food Handler's Card preferredWilling to submit to a background check, including a motor vehicle reportMust be 21 years of ageMath Skills : Possess basic mathematical skills : addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisionTravel Requirements : Driving orders in state territory utilizing company or personal vehicle as neededOvernight stays when needed to support longer routes (lodging and meals covered by company)Benefits
As an exempt employee, you'll receive a competitive salary of $80,000-115,000 / yr, 11 Paid Holidays, 120 hours of PTO, 16 hours of VTO, 401K, and fully paid health, dental and vision insurance. Wyld is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
