Trustpoint.One is pleased to partner with a leading medical services company in its search for a Legal Assistant. This is a direct hire, hybrid role out of the company’s Lewisville, Texas offices.

Primary duties of the Legal Assistant include but are not limited to :

  • Providing support to in-house legal department, keeping track of 200 active employment matters;
  • Creating reports, maintaining case trackers, and preparing case status reports;
  • Building out internal meeting schedules;
  • Making travel arrangements.
  • All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.
  • Infrequent lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds.

The successful Legal Assistant will have :

  • 2+ years of experience in law firm or legal in-house setting (including employment law and litigation experience);
  • Knowledge of Legal Tracker strongly preferred;
  • Solid grasp of litigation process and experience working with outside counsel;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced environment and successfully manage a large workload;
  • Ability to work independently and in team environment;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Salary range up to $85k, commensurate with experience.
