HBA3 - JPAX - Box Truck Driver & Delivery Assembly (Non-CDL) | 1+ Years Experience

As a Delivery Driver & Assembler, you will be a delivery hero in the neighborhoods you serve - delivering smiles to customers every day in the form of critical supplies, household goods, toys and so much more.

Delivery Drivers will drive an Amazon-branded, DOT-regulated vehicle, delivering packages to customers. Delivery Helpers ride alongside the driver and assist with the delivery of heavy and bulky items (more than 70 lbs.

You can expect to work 3-5 days per week and up to 10 hours per day.

DAs will be able provide assembly services for products in retail categories such as furniture, home entertainment, lawn and garden, and sporting goods.

These shipments with services are handled on a dedicated route, UB, based upon skill type that the DA is trained to handle.

DAs on these routes are trained and have passed the related assessment.

We are a 7 day a week operation. We only hire drivers with open / flexible availability to work weekdays and either a Saturday or Sunday (you will not be scheduled both weekend days).

Start time for this position is early AM (5am).

Minimum Requirements :

• SAFETY 1st mentality! protect yourself, others, and company assets
• 3+ years driving experience in a 16ft box truck or larger vehicle
• DOT Medical Card / Cert (current / valid / or willing to obtain one)
• Ability to assemble assigned product lines being delivered
• Be at least 21 years of ageValid standard driver’s license (no special license required)
• Have a very safe driving record (No DUI / DWI / Reckless)
• Be able to work until route completion
• Read, write, and speak English
• Consent to laboratory drug screening and motor vehicle record check
• Have good communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Able to operate handheld electronic delivery devices and navigate route using GPS guidance
• Able to lift heavy / bulky items weighing more than 70lbs (team lift)

Additional Preferred Qualifications :

• 5+ years driving experience in a 16ft box truck or larger vehicle
• Prior DOT regulated driving experience
• Residential delivery & assembly experience
• Demonstrated independent problem solving and analytical skills
• Prior experience interacting with customers and public in a professional and positive manner
