The Dietitian position at the Catholic Charities Food Farmacy provides an opportunity to be an important and essential team member for this unique and exciting Food As Medicine Program—where dietetic counseling, healthy food, and personalized support come together all in one place. The program serves those who are food insecure and are contending with health conditions impacted by poor nutritional status.
The Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) / Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) is responsible for providing nutritional assessments and disease-focused nutrition education including information on meal planning, food preparation and self-care measures. They will guide program participants on food choices right in the Food Farmacy—an on-site pantry stocked with a wide selection of appropriate health-promoting foods—ensuring that they have the necessary components to implement recommendations and build a healthy diet.
Additionally, they will provide counseling and education services to eligible Medicaid recipients in conjunction with the NYS 1115 Waiver Program.

Dietitian Minimum Salary : $ 30.00 / hour
Dietitian Maximum Salary : $ 30.00 / hour
Dietitian Schedule : Monday - Thursday (20 hours / week)

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
