Health Information Management Director

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Health Information Management (HIM) Director to lead and enhance our facility's HIM operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing daily operations, coordinating workflows, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee facility-based HIM operations, including record pick-up and reconciliation, release of information requests, and medical records management.
• Collaborate with the Regional HIM Director to implement operational plans, budget oversight, and service level agreements.
• Facilitate the Horizon Patient Folder (HPF) and McKesson Patient Folder (MPF) activities, including productivity monitoring and staff education.
• Participate in communication and coordination with facility leadership, department heads, and medical staff for seamless HIM operations.
• Manage unbilled accounts and related processes to ensure timely resolution and accurate reporting.
• Lead the implementation and ongoing support of 360 Encompass Computer Assisted Coding (CAC) for all patient types.
• Ensure adherence to workflow guidelines and schedules for all HIM operational queues.
