Lifecycle Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Lifecycle Specialist to own and scale our early customer experience across our suite of apps and across key geographies like US, LATAM and EU. This leader will design and optimize onboarding and activation journeys, laying the foundation for retention and long-term engagement as our product matures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Onboarding & Activation : Define, test, and scale strategies that guide new customers through their first days and weeks, ensuring value realization and habit formation
- Lifecycle Strategy : Build a roadmap for lifecycle engagement, beginning with onboarding and activation, and expanding into retention, advocacy and reactivation.
- Customer Insights : Use app data, journey mapping, and behavioral signals to identify friction points, churn risks, and opportunities for deeper engagement.
- Cross-Functional Leadership : Represent lifecycle strategy in senior forums, influencing Product, Analytics, UX / Research, and Growth Marketing roadmaps with customer-first insights.
- Engagement Channels : Lead the development of personalized, data-driven engagement across push, in-app messaging, and email to support activation and growth.
- Feature Adoption : Partner with Product to accelerate adoption of new features and expand customer value.
- Advocacy & Growth : Identify and test opportunities for referrals, cross-sell, upsell, and long-term loyalty programs as the business evolves.
The ideal profile :
App Experience : Proven track record ideally 5+ years in lifecycle or CRM roles at app-first or mobile-centric businesses.Lifecycle Expertise : Deep understanding of onboarding, activation, engagement, and early retention strategies.Data-Driven Mindset : Strong ability to interpret customer behavior data, apply insights, and leverage tools like CDPs, analytics platforms, and marketing automation.Channel Mastery : Expertise in mobile-first engagement channels (push, in-app, email, SMS and WhatsApp).Hands-On with Marketing Automation : Direct experience configuring, operating, and optimizing campaigns in leading marketing automation platforms.Cross-Functional Influence : Demonstrated ability to lead senior conversations and align diverse teams around customer engagement priorities.Strategic & Hands-On : Able to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution, testing, and iteration.Process : Recruiter call >
