Based in our Texas facility, the main purpose of the Receiving & Inventory Supervisor is to supervise and coordinate the operations of the Receiving & Inventory department and ensure the proper movement and accuracy of inventory.

Responsabilities & duties :

Supervise Receiving & Inventory Department

• Supervise employees to ensure all materials received are in compliance with cGMPs
• Train and coach employees on all job functions to ensure all KPI targets are met
• Manage employees performance and conduct quarterly performance reviews
• Ensure employees follow OSHA compliance in terms of health and safety
• Participate in the interviewing process for new hires

Managing Inventory and Receiving

• Maintain the quality level of the incoming material
• Manage the movement of bulk material within Medisca and at 3PL to insure accurate inventory utilizing MEDWMS / SYSPRO
• Monitor Bulk Short Expiry material and transfer accordingly each month
• Ensure cycle counts are completed in accordance with procedure for finished goods
• Process all incoming SCT shipments with accuracy and efficiency
• Coordinate with Customer Service to resolve any discrepancies in inventory levels
• Ensure that annual and bi-annual inventory audits are conducted

Additional responsibilities

• Conduct service calls for warehouse machinery (i.e. forklift, pallet jack)
• Assist in daily receiving and inventory functions

TRAVEL : Availability to travel for training

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma required, college and university an asset
• 5 years experience in a supervisory role
• 3 years warehouse experience
• Forklift experience required (certification within first month of employment through Medisca)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required; Syspro / Vintara an asset
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations required
• Knowledge of FDA regulations an asset
• Strong leadership and coaching skills
• Excellent planning, organizing and time management skills
• Conflict resolution skills
• Excellent communication skills required; fluent English (oral & written)
• Strong work ethic; integrity; reliability
• Availability to work on weekends when needed
