We are looking for a FULL TIME PM LINE COOK to join our team at our Penn Valley Location for our EVENING CONCEPT, "THE SNACK SHACK.
We are a small, but mighty team who are constantly growing every single day. In this role, you will be involved in back of house making Burgers, Fries, Chicken Tenders, and Hot Dogs, as well as assisting with Dishes, Cleanliness, and being a Team Player.
Minimum 1 year kitchen experience required. A willingness to learn and help wherever needed goes a long way. If you are looking to get out of full service restaurants and into something simpler, then that's us! Also, please be ready to be busy - we get a lot of traffic at our night time spot and expect to be busy most nights.
Schedule : Wednesday-Sunday, 3pm-9pm.
Qualified applicants will have
- Minimum 1 year kitchen experience
- Ability to work cleanly and efficiently
- A positive and teamwork-oriented attitude
- A passion for making great food consistently
- Willingness to help wherever needed
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
Responsibilities include
- Maintaining and managing back of house stock throughout the shift
- Cooking on a Flat Top and using Deep Fryers
- Communicating between front of house and back of house staff to ensure operations run smoothly together
Compensation : Base Wage $15 / hr - Plus Tips averages out to $20-$23 / hr
