A regional school support program is accepting applications for Substitute Paraprofessionals to provide flexible instructional and behavioral assistance across various educational settings. This position offers the opportunity to support students’ success and safety in diverse classrooms.
Responsibilities / Duties :
Assist in implementing educational and behavior plans under the direction of certified staff
Provide one-on-one support and encourage student engagement in academic tasks
Supervise students and maintain structure during activities and transitions
Support inclusive classroom practices that foster student independence
Maintain accurate and confidential documentation as directed by educators
Complete all required background checks and school fingerprinting prior to placement
Qualifications / Desired Experience :
Previous paraprofessional or instructional support experience preferred
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or college coursework desirable
Effective communication, organization, and observation skills
Willingness to complete additional fingerprinting for school compliance
Reliable, punctual, and adaptable for substitute scheduling
Interested individuals with relevant experience and current fingerprinting eligibility are encouraged to apply with résumé and availability.
Hours are not guaranteed and shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis according to school needs.
Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $48.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
