A school district is seeking Substitute Paraprofessionals for flexible, short-term assignments assisting students with academic and behavioral needs. The role requires professionalism, adaptability, and a focus on supporting students’ educational growth.
Responsibilities / Duties :
Support instructional delivery and reinforce lesson content under educator supervision
Provide one-on-one or small-group student assistance
Supervise and engage students during classroom, lunch, and recess activities
Maintain confidentiality and uphold school safety protocols
Accurately document student performance or behavior as directed
Complete all required fingerprinting and background checks prior to assignment
Qualifications / Desired Experience :
Prior experience working in school settings or with children preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong communication, flexibility, and reliability in daily substitute work
Willingness to complete additional school fingerprinting and screening
Professional demeanor and commitment to student well-being
