Overview :

MSA has an opportunity for a Principal Project Manager - Landscape Architecture at any of the following offices : Baraboo, WI, Madison, WI, Mequon, WI, Milwaukee, WI, Duluth, MN , or St.

Paul, MN . This person will work alongiside a high performing team focused on landscape architecture, waterfronts, and recreational development projects.

Responsibilities : The work you may do

The work you may do

  • Prepare planting plans, streetscape designs, waterfronts, and park plans
  • Participate in business development activities, marketing and networking
  • Design, develop, modify, and review drawings for site design projects according to established standards
  • Develop solutions to technical and creative challenges with site design and design communication tasks, in collaboration with other project staff
  • Provide various pre ? design services which may include conducting feasibility studies, site selection, and / or establishing design criteria
  • Interacts with Contractors and / or the Public in performing Construction Duties and / or Public Engagement Processes
  • Develop reports in InDesign
  • Perform site visits and inspections
  • Prepare drawings and presents ideas for the client to review, including renderings and animations
  • Operate as a client liaison as well as mentor staff

Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Landscape Architecture or related field required
  • Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) required
  • 12+ years of related consulting experience required
  • Prior experience with mentoring staff
  • Strong organizational and communication skills required

  • Paid Holidays MSA offers time off pay for 8 holidays in every calendar year.
  • Paid Parental Leave Both parents will receive 2 weeks of paid time off and birth parents are eligible for additional paid time off under MSAs Short Term Paid Leave.

The paid 2 weeks of time also applies to adoption and foster care placement.

  • Supplemental Insurance MSA pays 100% for all employees to have life insurance, long-term disability insurance and short-term disability insurance.
  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) MSA is an ESOP S-Corporation, which means that our company is 100% owned by us! Through the ESOP, eligible employees receive MSA stock in the form of company shares as a percentage of compensation, at no cost to the employee.
  • 401k Retirement Savings Plan Employees can also choose to participate in a 401k plan, with a generous employer match that is immediately 100% vested.
  • Short Term Incentive (STIP) This program rewards employees who meet performance goals with a one-time annual STIP payment as a percentage of their eligible compensation recognition of individual accomplishments and achieving organizational goals.

STIP payments are awarded if MSA reaches its corporate financial plan for the year.
