Job Description
DRIVERS NEEDED IMMEDIATELY!! Must have Class A CDL and able to drive manual transmission. 2 years + experience or graduation certificate.
Truck drivers (Heavy) drive trucks such as water, trailer or dump trucks with a capacity of more than three tons transporting materials to specified destinations on construction sites.
They operate equipment on the vehicle to load, secure and unload / disperse cargo / materials or they may assist in loading, securing and unloading the truck manually.
They maintain radio or telephone contact with base or a supervisor to receive instructions or be dispatched to new location.
They keep records of materials and products transported. They may also be responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and servicing the vehicle.
Working Conditions
The work is conducted both inside and outside in all weather conditions. Most of the work time (80%) is spent sitting. The work also includes physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
Wages / Benefits
McAninch Corporation is a Union Employer. Starting Truck Driver Journeyman wage for 2019 is 23.40 per hour. McAninch also pays for all benefits including pension and health insurance as provided for by the Local 90 Teamsters.
Overtime is paid after 40 hours per week and employees are paid weekly on every Friday.
