Accounting Specialist

Oversee the integration and ongoing management of ERP systems related to accounting and financial reporting for a company that manufactures automotive components.

Use ERP software to monitor, document, and track all financial transactions and accounting activities, ensuring alignment with business operations and manufacturing processes.

Leverage ERP tools to prepare and organize comprehensive financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and manufacturing cost reports. Analyze these reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.

Maintain and manage accounting databases within the ERP system, including financial, statistical, and auditing data. Ensure data integrity by identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.

Use ERP software to oversee accounts payable and receivable, manage ledgers, and forecast company revenues and expenses. Ensure timely and accurate financial transactions within the system.

Utilize ERP systems to generate monthly compensation reports by compiling earnings, taxes, deductions, and non-taxable wages of employees, ensuring proper tax treatment and compliance.

Inspect, upgrade, and optimize ERP accounting systems, working closely with IT departments to improve efficiency, streamline financial transactions, and enhance reporting accuracy.

Ensure the company remains in compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations by staying up to date on legislation and ERP system features that support legal compliance.

Job Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong proficiency with ERP accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Experience in accounting roles within manufacturing or automotive industries preferred.

Solid understanding of financial reporting, auditing, and legal compliance standards.

Ability to analyze financial data and optimize ERP systems for improved efficiency and accuracy.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
