Our client, a leading concrete and asphalt contractor, is seeking a seasoned Project Manager / Estimator in Nashville, TN.
Benefits :
- Compensation range : $90,000 - 125,000.
- Bonus opportunity : 5% of net profit on each job.
- The company provides a company truck and gas card.
- PTO : 10 Days with flexibility to take time off without taking up PTO.

Responsibilities :
- Manage and prioritize bids and estimates as needed for concrete projects and oversee contract reviews to ensure correct project scope
- Manage pre-bid documents and schedule
- Lead projects and work closely with superintendents to create project schedules and crew assignments. Remain actively involved to ensure the project remains on schedule through to the completion of the project
- Professionally and timely communication with clients
- Correctly track materials, process change orders timely, process monthly billings and invoice coding
- Manage material procurement and delivery
- Track job costs to maintain reasonable forecast to completion
- Build relationships in the industry and generate new avenues of revenue
Requirements :
- 2-7+ years of Estimating / Project Management in Construction or similar, required
- Degree in construction management, concrete construction materials, or concrete construction, plus
- Concrete sales experience, plus
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- High-level organizational skills with multi-tasking capabilities and detail-oriented
- Flexible and can make quick, smart decisions under pressure
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport within and outside the company
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Suite (Excel experience is a must), Planswift, FTP Downloading, Dropbox and Pro Core.
- Ability to think like an owner, work hard and have fun.
