Digital Product Manager - Local Candidates!
Location : Doral / Hybrid
Contract - 6 months to start with
The Digital Product Manager is responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of digital products, including ideation, product definition, engineering and development, roadmap definition, and successful rollout. This dynamic role will involve collaborating with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders, including business teams, shipboard staff, guests, engineering, QA, IT, network, and other technology groups. By actively engaging with various application product owners and leading multiple scrum teams, the Digital Product Manager will ensure the successful delivery of exciting and impactful digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Product Strategy and Ownership :
- Act as the product owner and champion, driving the vision, strategy, and overall success of assigned digital products.
- Develop a deep understanding of market trends, guest needs, and industry best practices to guide product direction.
Cross-functional Collaboration :
Establish and maintain close relationships with business stakeholders, shipboard staff, guests, engineering, QA, IT, network, and other technology groups to align priorities and ensure seamless communication.Collaborate with various departments, including Corporate IS and Revenue teams, to integrate digital products into the overall guest journey.Agile Project Management :
Lead and mentor multiple scrum teams through the product development process, from concept to delivery, using Agile methodologies.Prioritize features, define user stories, and manage the product backlog to ensure timely and high-quality releases.Product Development and Rollout :
Oversee the end-to-end development process, collaborating with engineering and development teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.Coordinate with shipboard Guest Tech teams to support product rollouts onboard, ensuring a smooth and delightful guest experience.Performance Monitoring and Optimization :
Analyze product performance metrics, user feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies.Continuously monitor competitive landscape and identify opportunities for product enhancements and innovation.Stakeholder Communication :
Regularly communicate product updates, project status, and future plans to key stakeholders, executives, and department heads.Act as a spokesperson for digital products, advocating for their value and potential impact on the company's success.Qualifications and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.Proven experience (1-5 years) in product management, specifically with digital products and technology-driven solutions.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading scrum teams.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence various stakeholders.Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.Previous experience in the cruise or a hospitality field is a plus.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.Passion for technology and innovation, with a keen eye for industry trends and best practices.
