Helper - 2nd shift

Position Summary:

Sheet Metal Helper assists CNC Punch Operator organize, separate, grind and duburr, and sort flat parts produced from the conveyor. Perform a combination of tasks to assist department. Oraganize, sort, load and handle or relocates parts as directed.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Accurately determine type of parts produced from conveyor
• Safely grind and deburr parts
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Work Break Operators
• Complete 5S tasks
• Help Closer with MRP computer work
• Help with identify and label non-conforming parts
• HS diploma or GED preferred
• Must join a union

The hourly range of $ is just one component of Hussmann’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, location and union designation. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
