Weekend Caregiver

Job Title:

• Weekend Caregiver Location: Salt Lake County Are you a compassionate caregiver looking for flexible weekend work with competitive pay and benefits?
• Visiting Angels is seeking dedicated Weekend Caregivers to join our team and provide non-medical in-home care to seniors and individuals in need.
• This is a great opportunity for experienced caregivers or those looking to begin a career in caregiving.

Compensation:

• Base Pay of $17.50 - $19.50 per hour, with shift differentials allowing earnings up to $28 per hour .

CNA-certified caregivers start at $18 per hour, with additional mileage reimbursement. Job Responsibilities:

• As a Weekend Caregiver, you will travel to client homes or care facilities to assist with: Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): grooming, bathing, toileting, dressing Meal preparation and assistance with feeding Light housekeeping and laundry Medication reminders Companionship and social interaction Transportation and errands Requirements: Must be 18 years or older Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle Legally authorized to work in the United States Some prior caregiving experience preferred — or a strong desire to learn Reliable, compassionate, and committed to providing quality care Qualifications: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is a plus (CNAs start at $18 per hour) Experience in caregiving, home health, or a related field preferred Experience in dementia/Alzheimer’s care is a plus Dependable, proactive, and eager to learn Strong communication and time-management skills Patience, empathy, and a commitment to helping others What We Offer: Competitive pay with weekend shift differentials Mileage reimbursement Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Tuition reimbursement Caregiver rewards programs and ongoing support Paid training and advancement opportunities A caring and supportive work environment Join the Visiting Angels team and make a positive impact in the lives of our clients.
