Network Engineer

Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in their search for a Network Engineer to join their team in the Indianapolis, Indiana area.

This successful resource will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network systems to ensure optimal performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Maintain a secure network infrastructure by performing upgrades, maintaining VPNs, and leading design / testing
• Configure network monitoring systems and altering to maintain optimal network performance
• Create and maintain disaster recovery and regulatory compliance documentation
• Design, configure, and secure interoperable networks for critical systems
• Collaborate with teams to implement and support Cyber security solutions

REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of progressive network experience
• Extensive enterprise level experience in Cisco, switches, routers, and firewalls

PREFERRED SKILLS :

• Experience supporting Windows, Linux, and UNIX
• Experience with cyber security audit and remediation
• Experience with multiple network vendors
• Utility industry experience
• Certifications or advanced degree

TERMS :

This position is a direct hire opportunity with a salary up to $105K based on experience. They offer benefits including medical, dental, and vision along with 401K matching, generous PTO, and other soft benefits.
