Bila Solar is driving the next generation of American solar innovation, by transforming American solar production from our HQ in the heart of Indianapolis, Indiana — strengthening the domestic supply chain and creating advanced manufacturing jobs in clean energy. Led by highly-experienced industry veterans, we’re among the first-to-market to offer US-made solar cells in a 550w dual-glass module that can deliver exceptional durability and top-tier performance. But, we’re not stopping there. Our facility also produces an innovative, ultralight, 17-pound 520w module, designed for commercial rooftops and low-load-bearing structures, bringing solar to places traditional panels can’t reach.

Key Responsibilities :

  • 2+ years of experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role
  • Computer literacy, including confidence using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and basic accounting and accounts payable software
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines and flexible to help in other admin tasks if needed

Responsibilities-

An Accounting Clerk plays a vital role in supporting the financial operations of an organization by performing various administrative and clerical tasks within the accounting department

  • The position involves accurate record-keeping, data entry, and collaboration with other finance professionals to ensure financial transactions are processed efficiently
  • Ensure the timely and precise recording of transactions, including invoices, receipts, and expenses
  • Process approvals and verify invoices, ensuring proper coding
  • Prepare and issue payments to vendors within established timelines
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Support the accounting team in month-end and year-end closing process
  • Process, match, code, audit, and enter A / P invoices
  • Reconcile checks with vouchered invoices and maintain vendor files
  • Making sure all invoices are approved by purchasing and leadership
  • Jobsite : Expected 2 days per week onsite in Indianapolis, IN 46225. Anticipated initial workweek : 24hrs / week.
