This role sits in the Global Digital Hub, as part of the AI Shared Services team. The team supports data infrastructure, leverages ABGs new data lake, integrates tools such as MuleSoft and Salesforce, and delivers scalable AI and automation solutions to enhance efficiency and drive digital transformation across the enterprise.
Role Summary
We are seeking a MuleSoft Developer & Business Analyst Mid-level to design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft integrations across ABGs enterprise systems, including ERP and Salesforce platforms. This is a hybrid role due to the lean structure of our new team, combining hands-on MuleSoft developmentincluding API creation, DataWeave transformations, and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) workflowswith business analysis responsibilities such as requirements gathering, process documentation, and stakeholder collaboration. While the role is designed to balance both development and analysis, we are flexible and may shift the focus to MuleSoft development as business needs demand. The ideal candidate has 35 years of MuleSoft experience, strong SQL and programming skills, ERP exposure, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
Core Responsibilities :
MuleSoft Development (primary focus)
- Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions and APIs using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, DataWeave).
- Collaborate with business, ERP, and Salesforce teams to build scalable, maintainable solutions that ensure seamless data flow.
- Configure and maintain Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) workflows : ingest, classify, extract, validate, and integrate unstructured data (e.g., purchase orders, invoices).
- Optimize integrations between MuleSoft IDP and downstream systems (ERP, Salesforce, CRM).
- Maintain existing integrations, perform testing / debugging, and ensure high-quality deployments.
- Define test scenarios, support QA, and coordinate UAT with business stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements post-implementation.
Business Analysis & Process Support (secondary focus)
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, processes, and user stories.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications (data mappings, transformation logic, API contracts).
- Model business processes (e.g., BPMN) and document migration requirements (source-to-target mapping).
- Support process optimization by identifying opportunities to streamline data, standardize integrations, and improve workflows.
- Work cross-functionally with business process engineers, program managers, and business owners to align technical delivery with business goals.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for integration processes, APIs, and configurations.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Operations, or a related technical field (Masters preferred).
- MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 2 preferred; Level 1 will be considered.
- 35 years of MuleSoft development experience (Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, API Manager, IDP), along with 12 years of business analyst experience supporting requirements gathering and process documentation.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems must have worked extensively with at least one of the following : SAP ECC6 / S4HANA, Epicor CMS, P21 Cloud, Sage X3; willingness to learn others.
- Proficient in SQL for data integration and analysis.
- Programming background (Python or another language) to demonstrate conceptual thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Experience working with JIRA and / or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Salesforce (developer or integration knowledge preferred).
- Strong documentation skills, with the ability to translate business processes into technical requirements.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to data lakes, AI / automation initiatives, or large-scale digital transformation.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
