Job Summary

Primary responsibilities are multimedia reporting, specifically for radio broadcast, but also writing online versions of stories for kjzz.org .

Essential Functions

50% - Writes and produces news stories

40% - Uses audio equipment to edit audio using digital tools and other related duties as assigned

10% - Generates stories for broadcast using print, on-line and other resources

Minimum Qualifications

A. Some experience in writing and reporting

B. Strong attention to detail

C. Ability to work under deadlines

D. Strong writing skills

E. Ability to work independently and prioritize duties
