Construction Consultant
JOB DESCRIPTION
Description :
This position will be receiving incoming calls from customers looking for items for construction projects.
- First touch point of incoming calls and walk-ins from customers
- Strong communication between customers, vendors, and departments to ensure items are available and scheduled
- Relationship development for returning customers is VERY important
- Will be held responsible for developing layout and analysis of structures and up-to-date on codes, specifications, and design procedures
Hours : M-Th 7 : 00-4 : 30 and F 7 : 00-12 : 00
Education :
- Associates Degree in Architectural Drafting / Civil Engineer - preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, required Skills :

Requirements :
- Strong customer service

- Strong organizational skills (will need to balance multiple orders and incoming calls / emails to make sure nothing falls through)
- Time management skills, required
- Comprehension of reading construction documents / blueprints (STRONGLY preferred)
- Experience working with CADD Software, steel detailing software (preferred)
