Job Summary - Administrative Assistant I / HR Coordinator (Job ID : 18650-1)

Location : Hybrid - Maple Grove (3 days onsite, may require 4)

Duration : 12 Months | Payrate : $20.00-$21.00 / hr (W2)

Potential : Temp-to-hire (1st-year salary : $47,840)

The HR Coordinator provides advanced administrative and clerical support to the HR team, working under limited supervision. This role involves handling confidential information, managing schedules, coordinating meetings, supporting onboarding activities, preparing documents, and serving as a communication point-of-contact for internal and external stakeholders. The position requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Must-Have Skills

  • Administrative / Clerical Experience : Prior experience managing calendars, meetings, documents, and office tasks.
  • Multitasking & Organization : Ability to handle multiple priorities, manage schedules, and meet deadlines.
  • Professional Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with managers, new hires, and cross-functional teams professionally.
  • Confidentiality : Experience handling sensitive HR and organizational information appropriately.
  • Proactive & Independent : Ability to make decisions using good judgment with minimal supervision.
  • Document Preparation : Skilled in creating and improving letters, memos, presentations, and other internal communications.
  • Agility in High-Volume Settings : Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic HR environment.
  • Travel Flexibility : Must be able to travel to Arbor Lakes and Minnetonka locations as needed.
  • Preferred : Some HR experience and interest in growing a long-term career in HR.
