Sr. Program Manager -Govn't & Defense Services
As a Senior Program Manager at CBRE, you will lead a team responsible for driving medium to large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects and programs within our Government & Defense Services sector. This role sits within the Program Management function, which supervises the design and execution of critical initiatives that support CBRE's enterprise goals. You'll ensure successful delivery by aligning resources, handling stakeholder expectations, and maintaining operational excellence across all phases of program execution.
Provide formal supervision to employees. Supervise the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department target dates. Mentor and coach as needed.
Lead all aspects of large cross-functional projects or programs from end to end using a formal process.
Ensure that all functions remain on schedule and any issues get raised and resolved.
Maintain relationships in support of programs.
Work with key partners to develop solutions and guide project teams throughout delivery.
Build & distribute routine PMO reports, which include status reports and updated Gantt charts.
Apply knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
Showcase expertise in own job field and in-depth knowledge of other job subject areas within the organization function.
Mentor others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and / or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.
Communicate difficult ideas with the ability to influence.
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. PgMP or PMP certifications preferred
Experience working with defense clientele or military experience preferred.
Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
Prior experience supporting defense sector clients or a background in military service is strongly preferred.

Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Expert organizational skills with a sophisticated inquisitive mentality.
Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
