Human Resources Manager

Due to growth, we are looking for additional qualified experts to join Evergreen and manage project teams; working directly with our customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
The Role
Compliance
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple states
- Maintains and updates HR policies and procedures in alignment with legal requirements and company standards
- Manages worker's compensation claims and coordinates with insurance providers and internal stakeholders
HRMS & Technology
Leverages technology to improve processes and enhance employee experienceServes as a primary administrator for PaycomLearns and utilizes all relevant company approved systems and makes recommendations for new ways to integrate them for process improvements.Benefits Administration
Manages employee benefits programs including healthcare, retirement, and voluntary benefit plansCoordinates annual open enrollment and serves as a liaison between employees and benefit providersProvides guidance and support to employees regarding benefits questions and claimsRecruiting and Onboarding
Owns recruiting for assigned departmentsSeeks out qualified candidates from multiple sourcesProvides candidate recommendations to hiring managersUshers candidates throughout the hiring processWorks with managers to develop onboarding plansPerformance Management & Support
Supports employee performance management processesCoaches managers on employee relations issues and supports during the disciplinary processConducts regular check-ins with employeesAddresses employee concerns and provides guidance on HR-related mattersFosters a positive workplace cultureThe Necessities
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, related field, or equivalent experiencePHR or SHRM-CP certification5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a multi-state environmentProficiency with Paycom or similar HRMS platformsStrong understanding of worker's compensation, benefits administration, and multi-state complianceExceptional attention to detail while still seeing the big pictureIs technologically curious and self-motivated to learn new applicationsHas a passion for process improvement and innovationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe Benefits
