Ammonia Refrigeration Technician
Paramount Professional Staffing in Oklahoma City is seeking an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician for a large essential manufacturing facility.

- This position is for 2nd Shift. (3 : 00PM- 1 : 00 A.M.)
Position Overview :
- As an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician, you will ensure operation, testing and monitoring of industrial refrigeration machinery by performing preventative and predictive maintenance, as well as new equipment installation as assigned.
- Your role in the bigger picture is to manage the preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and to improve the functionality and safe working order of our manufacturing work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration experience working on compressors, ammonia pumps condensing towers, and full understanding of the refrigeration cycle
- Electrical : Knowledge of components and equipment including the use of specialized equipment, power sources, ac / dc motors and transformers.
- Welding / Cutting : Knowledge and utilization of PPE and safety for tasks, techniques ( tig / stick / mig), set up of equipment, basic gas cutting, proper grounding and equipment maintenance.
- Computer operation and understanding of PLC operation Adheres to all safety policies and cooperates with all regulatory, factory and divisional safety standards / requirements and department(s).
- Identifies and reports all hazards immediately.
- Performs all quality checks as required by position and / or product and as documented within factory quality system.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude Must be able to handle multiple projects at one time
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 Year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program is a plus
- 3+ years of ammonia refrigeration experience working on compressors, ammonia pumps condensing towers, and full understanding of the refrigeration cycle
- Industrial maintenance, similar military environment OR two-year technical degree
- 3-5 years of proven experience in electrical / electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields are required. Benefits :
