What You'll Do

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting individuals and coordinating with appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities and identify potential issues.

Observe and report any suspicious activities, security-related hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.

Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and the client, adapting to varying environments and conditions at the government location.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized persons and support a secure environment.

Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and / or client representatives regarding incidents, emergencies, and security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
