Responsibilities
- Work within the firm's Bankruptcy Department under the general supervision of the Paralegal Supervisor and department attorneys
- File Proof of Claims throughout multiple jurisdictions nationwide
- Prepare certificate of service and additional documents as needed
- Communicate with team, supervisors, and clients through phone and email
- Must be a team player willing to assist throughout the department
- Willing to take on new tasks, adapt to new challenges, and engage in ongoing training
Qualifications
Prior experience working in a law firm or legal environment. Previous experience working in the bankruptcy field is a plusWorking knowledge of PACER, NextGen, and / or CM / ECF systemKey skills include : critical thinking, attention to detail, effective communication, and strong sense of teamworkStrong problem solving skills and enjoys working with numbersAbility to manage a high volume of files and prioritize workload appropriatelyRequired Education and Training
