Buyer
Currently seeking a Buyer for a direct hire opportunity. Will be working with a team of buyers who support a facility's purchasing activities within a cross functional manufacturing product focused team.
Will be responsible for obtaining pricing for proposals, purchase order placement, obtaining order confirmation and other purchasing related activities.

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, engineering or business preferred. Equivalent experience is acceptable.
Knowledge of Industrial equipment or Cement producing equipment preferred.
Knowledge of MRP processes in support of manufacturing is desired.
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft applications is a plus.
Understanding of procurement process including vendor selection and order placement.
Commercial and Technical knowledge to conduct offer evaluations is desired.
Experience with international suppliers is a plus.
Good with data, spreadsheets and data analysis.
Should possess a sense of urgency, be proactive, customer driven and motivated.
Ability to multi task and manage time effectively.
Work well with others and able to stay calm in pressure situations.
Good communication skills written and verbal.
