A regional educational organization seeks a Substitute CPI Paraprofessional to provide behavioral and instructional support in classrooms on a substitute basis. This position is ideal for professionals who value flexible scheduling and student-focused work.
Responsibilities / Duties :
Assist in implementing behavioral intervention plans and classroom management strategies
Use CPI techniques to prevent and respond to behavioral incidents safely and appropriately
Support instructional activities and assist students with academic or adaptive goals
Monitor student behavior, record data, and maintain confidentiality in all documentation
Contribute to creating a structured and positive learning atmosphere
Qualifications / Desired Experience :
Current CPI certification or ability to obtain prior to placement
Experience working with students in behavioral or special-education settings preferred
Strong communication, problem-solving, and de-escalation skills
Dependable, flexible, and committed to maintaining a safe and supportive environment
